A series of 131 miniature paintings on cardboard tiles come together to create a fragmented whole. The collection toys with scale and format as it departs from the classic canvas. The miniatures delve into absolute abstraction and expressionism born from a process of flipping, mirroring, altering images, and shifting between real items and imagined ones loosely sourced from surgical rooms, hospitals and their tools’ relationship with the human body.

Feral was displayed as part of ‘Roznama 4’ art competition and exhibition by Medrar for Contemporary Art, Cairo, 2015.
